At Tradeway, transparency is at the core of our pricing. Unlike many trading platforms that add hidden spreads to asset prices, we execute all trades at the best available market price, ensuring our users get fair, competitive rates. To keep operations running smoothly, we apply a simple, flat trading fee on position opening and closing—eliminating any confusion about hidden costs or unexpected charges.
Here’s a breakdown of our trading fees by asset class:
Cryptocurrencies: 0.09% per trade (open and close)
Stocks: 0.05% per trade
Indices: 0.05% per trade
Commodities: 0.05% per trade
Forex: 0.03% per trade
Let’s look at an example to see how this works in practice.
Example: Buying and Selling NVIDIA (NVDA) Stock
Imagine you’re interested in trading NVIDIA (NVDA) stock, currently priced at $130 per share. Let’s say you decide to buy 10 shares. Here’s how the fees would work.
Step 1: Opening the Position
When you open a position, our flat 0.05% fee for stocks applies.
Trade Size: 10 shares x $130 = $1,300
Opening Fee: $1,300 x 0.05% = $0.65
So, to open your NVIDIA position, the fee is 0.65 USDT.
Step 2: Closing the Position
Now, let’s say the stock’s price increases to $150 per share, and you decide to sell all 10 shares.
Trade Size on Closing: 10 shares x $150 = $1,500
Closing Fee: $1,500 x 0.05% = $0.75
The fee for closing your position is 0.75 USDT.
Total Cost Summary
Opening Fee: 0.65 USDT
Closing Fee: 0.75 USDT
Total Fees: 0.65 USDT + 0.75 USDT = 1.40 USDT
For this trade, your total fees amount to 1.40 USDT. This straightforward approach helps you plan your trades more accurately, knowing exactly what you’ll pay before entering a position.
